I have to say, the people were SO friendly. It was also Loki's first trip, first time away from home, and first time in a hotel. I'd say he did great. Would gladly stay again. And even with two beds, he somehow ended up on the bed I slept on.....weird.
What a great find along the highway. Friendly staff. A queen bed with sofa room for $129.00 + tax in July 2025...wow. VERY clean, decent hotel with a continental breakfast! Amazing deal! Boston Pizza on one side and Subway on the other was convenient too.
We were just passing through and ended up staying in this Hotel. Price was a bit high for what I was looking for, but the stay was enjoyable. Very good and clean room and service.
Tired travellers decided to check into Jay’s Inn. So glad we went to this Inn. The staff were so friendly and helpful, room was very clean and well supplied with everything. They even have an outside patio for the smokers and also a continental breakfast if we need a hotel before Winnipeg ever again this will definitely be where we’re staying.
This hotel is approximately 28 years old, and is situated adjacent to the TransCanada highway. Virden is a town of approximately 3100 people, and the Boston Pizza next door to the hotel is a bonus. Room 201 (second floor) was clean and well designed. The beds were very comfortable and toiletries plentiful. The room was near the the elevator, laundry and fitness room, but, was quiet. The elevator was on the small side, and its door tended to close very quickly, but we managed it with a luggage rack. The fitness room was supplied with a variety of equipment, and a hot tub and patio were situated outside our window. A smoking area is also provided there. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, and, the breakfast area was extremely well stocked and the offerings were varied and delicious. Breakfast closed later in the morning, which was appreciated. There was plenty of signage everywhere regarding hotel management, and the hotel serves outdoor construction workers on a regular basis.
Extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable front staff. The purple haired lady was so sweet and fun and the morning worker was equally as friendly and nice. You can tell the workers are treated well as it shows in their work. A nice little place. Luxurious it is not, but the building is maintained, the rooms are clean and the breakfast was stocked with lots of options. Would stay here again no doubt.
We are traveling east and stopped for one night with a small dog. Great location, very clean, comfortable beds, wonderful high pressure shower, best Continental breakfast, friendly staff and Boston Pizza right next door. Will stay here again! Thanks for a great stay
Stayed one night at this hotel conveniently situated just off of the highway. The staff absolutely made the stay fantastic, Carol was at the front desk when we arrived and she was so helpful and friendly, and just loved on my little dog! Our room was exceptionally clean and well taken care of! Quiet hotel, and the bed was very comfy. Coffee and juice are available 24/7 and the continental breakfast had some great options! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again
